STAFF TRAINING

 

 At Norfolk Industrial Cleaning we invest heavily in ensuring that our staff are well trained and are competent in their day to day duties. We also strive to improve our training at management level to ensure the safe working practices for all staff. As a company we are audited and accredited by CHAS, proof of our certification can be requested at any time.

 

Industrial Cleaning Operatives: We ensure that our Industrial Cleaning Operatives have an excellent understanding of the Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and how this procedure affects them in their day to day role. With most industrial cleaning tasks, it is likely that potentially harmful chemicals are to be used and in such circumstances our staff will always have available the relevant data sheets for their products along with a fully compliant COSHH Risk Assessment. All Industrial Cleaning Operatives will be competent in COSHH, Health & Safety aware and First Aid trained.

 

Construction Cleaning Operatives: Working on construction sites poses many dangers but with the correct training a building site can be a very low risk environment. Our Construction Cleaning Operatives will have completed the mandatory Health & Safety Environment and Awareness Course in order to obtain their occupation specific CSCS card, regulated by CITB.

 

Working at Height: Our Cleaning Operatives are often required to work at height, those who are required to use reach equipment such as scissor and boom lifts, will be fully accredited and hold an IPAF card or other relevant training certification. We also ensure that any Cleaning Operatives that use ladders to be correctly trained and certified by a professional training provider.
