At Norfolk Industrial Cleaning we like to take care of all our Cleaning Operatives and are proud to employ a growing number of enthusiastic and reliable staff. All of our Cleaning Operatives are carefully vetted before employment and receive full training with ongoing support in their relevant fields. To guarantee maximum efficiency we provide our staff with quality equipment, which is regularly inspected and PAT tested. We also ensure that our staff will attend your site looking presentable, wearing our company branded uniform and relevant Personal Protective Equipment.  All Construction Cleaning Operatives will hold the relevant CSCS qualification and will be involved in regular toolbox talks to ensure our safe working practices are maintained at all times.



We understand the importance of Health and Safety and always strive to ensure to that processes are efficient for our staff, clients and the general public. We are registered with CHAS, who review our processes annually to ensure we are providing the safest working environments at all times.  Norfolk Industrial Cleaning can competently provide site specific Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH Assessments before work commences. Norfolk Industrial Cleaning are fully insured and in the unlikely event of an accident or damage occurring, our clients can be assured that we are covered for Public Liability to the sum of £5 million and Employers Liability to the sum of £10 million GBP. Proof of Public Liability and Employers Liability insurance can be presented upon request.



 At Norfolk Industrial Cleaning we invest heavily in ensuring that our staff are well trained and are competent in their day to day duties. We also strive to improve our training at management level to ensure the safe working practices for all staff. As a company we are audited and accredited by CHAS, proof of our certification can be requested at any time.


Industrial Cleaning Operatives: We ensure that our Industrial Cleaning Operatives have an excellent understanding of the Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and how this procedure affects them in their day to day role. With most industrial cleaning tasks, it is likely that potentially harmful chemicals are to be used and in such circumstances our staff will always have available the relevant data sheets for their products along with a fully compliant COSHH Risk Assessment. All Industrial Cleaning Operatives will be competent in COSHH, Health & Safety aware and First Aid trained.


Construction Cleaning Operatives: Working on construction sites poses many dangers but with the correct training a building site can be a very low risk environment. Our Construction Cleaning Operatives will have completed the mandatory Health & Safety Environment and Awareness Course in order to obtain their occupation specific CSCS card, regulated by CITB.


Working at Height: Our Cleaning Operatives are often required to work at height, those who are required to use reach equipment such as scissor and boom lifts, will be fully accredited and hold an IPAF card or other relevant training certification. We also ensure that any Cleaning Operatives that use ladders to be correctly trained and certified by a professional training provider.

Norfolk Industrial Cleaning was the cleaning contractor appointed to clean our 18,000 sq ft industrial site located in Harleston, Norfolk. The scope involved deployment of a new cleaner unfamiliar with the site to bring the site “up to scratch” and maintain this level on a daily basis Mon-Fri 52 weeks of the year.

After the initial deployment Norfolk Industrial Cleaning demonstrated both their knowledge and professionalism and were asked to bring the site up to scratch after recent management changes following an acquisition of the company. Whilst major changes to the cleaners/cleaning company is inherently stressful for almost any company whilst the company continues to operate Norfolk Industrial Cleaning were invaluable. Training time was swift, Peter and his other senior cleaners were onsite throughout the training of the new cleaners daily until they were satisfied that they could be left to their own devices and had a sound knowledge of the dangers both in the factory environment and whilst using the chemicals provided.
